This tripod lacks standard spikes but features non-slip rubber foot pads for regular ground. For soft surfaces (beach/mud), unscrew the 1/4-inch interface foot pads and install compatible spikes (sold separately) to enhance grip.
Can other tripod heads be installed?

Yes, any tripod head with a 3/8-inch port on the bottom is compatible.
